I started in the real estate industry in 1994 as a personal real estate assistant. In that position, I learned how to do property searches (using books!), prepare contracts and other documents, and create beautiful ads and marketing materials.
In 1998, I moved to Grand Junction. I started as a receptionist at a local title company and, within 9 months, I was closing real estate transaction. I accumulated almost 7 years of experience as an Escrow Officer and have closed hundreds of transactions. I know closings inside out and can actually read (and understand) a title commitment!
I was ready to get my real estate license in 2004. I found my calling in becoming an agent since I loved helping people realize their dreams of home ownership. The contracts and other paperwork that come with buying and selling real estate comes naturally to me given my 25 years of secretarial background prior to real estate.
